Agent’s Night, Toronto Lawn Tennis Club, Tuesday April 15, 2008
The 2007 Agent’s Night, was such a resounding success, we decided to schedule a reprise for Tuesday April 15th. We will be returning to the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club, on Price Street, with a kick-off at 6:30 p.m.
We’ll be in the Phillpot Dining Room, now complete, where you can browse through a variety of Australian wines not available in your local LCBO. All the wines to be tasted are in the Consignment Program and are available for sale, by the case, from the exhibiting Agents.
The Club will have an array of finger foods on “grazing stations”, to nibble while you sip. We expect to have the Consul General, Stefan Trofimovs, to attend and to address the members of both AWS and TLTC. If you have not met Stefan this will be a good time to say hello and welcome him to Toronto. The price for the event is $40.00. Note: we are limited to 120 members and guests, so book early.
The Toronto Lawn Tennis Club is located at 44 Price Street, which is just south of the Summerhill LCBO, on the east side of Yonge Street.

The Australian Wine Society (AWS) of Toronto is a not-for-profit organization devoted to the enjoyment of the wines of Australia. Through exposure to, and education about the wines and wine regions of Australia, the Society seeks to encourage, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, a greater awareness of the wine varietals, the diversity and the styles of Aussie wines. The opportunity to try a wide range of wines makes it easier for members to decide what types they might want to purchase through wine agents, the LCBO, Vintages monthly releases and the Classics Catalogue.
